Activisions
Activisions was a promotional newsletter by Activision, published seasonally from Fall 1981 to Fall 1983. The newsletter included previews of upcoming Activision games and interviews with Activision staff.

@Gamer (rarely written as AtGamer for searchability) was the short-lived official gaming magazine of retailer Best Buy, similar to Game Informer's relationship with FuncoLand and GameStop. The magazine ran for 35 issues.

Gamers' Republic
Gamers' Republic was a monthly gaming magazine managed by Dave Halverson, founder of GameFan magazine, after leaving his previous publication. Like GameFan, Gamers' Republic was aimed at the hardcore gaming audience, with a focus on Japanese games and developers, along with coverage of anime.
GamePro
GamePro was one of the longest-running American video game magazines, published continuously from May 1989 until the end of 2011. The magazine was originally published by SuperPlay, before being acquired by IDG Communications after the first issue.
GamePro continued to operate as an independent unit of IDG until the magazine was dissolved in Winter 2011, following a final issue which attempted to pivot the magazine from a monthly to quarterly format.
PSM
PSM was an independent PlayStation magazine by Imagine Publishing. The magazine ran until 2007, when it was discontinued and restarted as PlayStation: The Official Magazine, now affiliated with Sony Computer Entertainment.
Official Xbox Magazine
Official Xbox Magazine (abbreviated OXM) was the officially licensed Xbox magazine in the United States.
Towards the end of the magazine's run, starting on August 2019, the American edition of OXM was replaced with the British edition of OXM, effectively merging the two magazines. Both editions of OXM were discontinued in April 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic; the final issue is dated May 2020.
InterAction / Sierra News Magazine
InterAction was a promotional magazine by developer Sierra On-Line, published seasonally. Starting around 1987 as Sierra Newsletter, the magazine grew and started to feature more graphics and color printing, eventually becoming Sierra News Magazine before it was relaunched as InterAction. Sierra would publish the magazine until the company underwent significant layoffs and restructuring in early 1999.
