This collection includes a variety of videos recorded at, or for, video game events. This encompasses promotional videos as well as independently produced event footage.
Carolyn Rauch event ephemera collection
Carolyn Rauch was the senior vice president of the Interactive Digital Software Association (later the Entertainment Software Association) and a founding organizer of the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). In various roles at the ESA and event organizer IDG World Expo, Rauch oversaw multiple gaming events, including E3; the public-facing spinoff event E for All; and the Game Marketing Summit (previously known as MI6).
Anthony Parisi tapes
Anthony Parisi attended the first four annual Electronic Entertaintment Expo events, as well as the 1995 Winter Consumer Electronics Show. Parisi brought a camcorder to these events and recorded a significant amount of footage of game demos and press conferences. Parisi also received videotapes containing B-rool footage of Nintendo games shown at E3 1996 and 1997.
