Nintendo publicity folder, Winter CES 1987, January 8–11, 1987
Scope and Contents
This is a collection of folders and catalogs that video game publishers used to advertise their games. Based on the included information, it is unclear if these were intended for retailers or the press, possibly both, since they contain information about product ordering as well as general press releases. Unless otherwise noted, the original provenance of these folders is unclear.

Abstract
This press kit was distributed by Nintendo of America at the 1987 Winter Consumer Electronics Show. This folder contain assets for early and unreleased first-party Nintendo products: notably, the Nintendo Knitting Machine (p.2, p.9), and early placeholder "Black Box"-style artwork for the games The Legend of Zelda and Punch-Out (p.10).
Arrangement
This folder is part of a larger accession of promotional material collected by Roger Sharpe. It will eventually be reorganized within a larger Roger Sharpe collection; we have made it accessible early due to the high interest in the material.
Custodial History
This folder was donated to the Video Game History Foundation by former Williams executive Roger Sharpe.
