Historical Note
This tape was labeled "Astropede", a later working title for the game Segapede. The art in this video likely post-dates the 1994 "Segapede" prototype video (see "'Segapede' prototype gameplay footage [VHS]"). However, based on the dates for other Astropede materials in this collection (see "Segapede development binder, 'v.01'"), development on Astropede was likely suspended before 1995, meaning this art was also produced in 1994.

Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements
This video was digitized using the Domesday Duplicator to retrieve low-level data from the original VHS tape. Noise and damage in the video reflects the original condition of the tape.
Partway through the original capture of the Astropede video tape, the audio and video appeared to desynchronize by about 0.667 seconds. This was corrected after digitization.
