Historical Note
According to Craig Stitt, Spinny & Spike was a game concept in early production at Sega Technical Institute. Each level of the game would have been themed around a common nightmare that a person might have. Stitt's artwork depicts a "Shop Class" theme (p.1–2, 5–6), as well as unused concepts for what the protagonists Spinny and Spike could look like (p.3–4).
