Abstract

Necrosoft Games is an independent game studio founded by former Game Developer magazine editor Brandon Sheffield. These materials, donated by Sheffield on an ongoing basis, including behind-the-scenes materials from the development of Necrosoft titles.

Custodial History

These materials were donated to the Video Game History Foundation by Necrosoft Games director Brandon Sheffield on an ongoing basis.

Accruals

Brandon Sheffield has expressed his intent to continue donating Necrosoft development materials to the Video Game History Foundation on a rolling basis.

Existence and Location of Originals

The original documents in this collection are held in the Video Game History Foundation library in two boxes.

Separated Materials

Brandon Sheffield's initial donation also contained storyboards from a non-Necrosoft project he worked on, which were separated out into the library's general collections. If Sheffield donates additional non-Necrosoft materials, they may be re-collected as a their own collection.
