Biographical / Historical
This menu demo, believed to be from November 1993, is the earliest known build of the Sega Channel system software. This build is missing even the most basic features seen in later prototypes such as submenus, scrolling text, and the opening splash screen with Sonic the Hedgehog. This build also features an early Sega Channel logo using the initials "SC" rather than a television icon or the "Sega Pat" mascot.
