Conditions Governing Access
The contents of each CD in this collection are openly accessible. At the discretion of the Video Game History Foundation library staff, copies of the original disc images may be provided on request to researchers who need to access the original files, or who need to access files that can't be displayed in-browser. For the sake of access to these materials that were intended for public distribution, the disc images in this collection have also been mirrored on the Internet Archive.
Historical Note
The cover of this CD accidentally uses the logo for the game studio Maxis, which had nothing to do with Warhammer: Dark Omen. This might have happened because Maxis was purchased by Electronic Arts in 1997, and some redundant Maxis staff were assigned to work on Electronic Arts projects during the transition in ownership. Jeffrey Feil, a technical support lead at Maxis, recalls being assigned to produce publicity materials for other Electronic Arts titles during this period; it is possible the wrong disc template was used for this CD.
