This collection represents GamePro's press asset archives from about 1995–2004. Discs in this collection are numbered 1 to 751, roughly following when they were received or created by GamePro but not in exact order.

The library is currently digitizing these CDs to make their contents digitally accessible. Each copy in the digital library includes a scan of the CD, as well as scans of the cover slips that GamePro created for each disc.

Conditions Governing Access

The contents of each CD in this collection are openly accessible. Because these materials were intended for public distribution, the disc images in this collection have also been made downloadable through the Video Game History Foundation's digital library. Researchers can use the disc images to access files in their original formats, or files that can't be displayed in-browser; however, the Video Game History Foundation cannot provide support for these raw files.

Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements

Due to an unidentified technical issue, the manifest file for this disc is incomplete.

Several of the images on this CD were originally provided in Scitex Continuous Tone format (.sct), a high-resolution CMYK publishing format. The publicly browsable versions of these images have been converted to RGB .png files. We are documenting this due to the obscurity of the format in the event that a researcher needs to work with the original pre-converted images.
