William Volk Activision DAT tape
Content Description
This is an accession of the internal and external Macintosh hard drive backups of William Volk from his work at Activision. Volk served as vice president of Technology at Activision from 1988–1994 and served as technical director for the 1993 game Return to Zork. His backup includes a significant number of correspondence and planning documents for Activision projects, as well as Macintosh development tools and a small amount of game source code.

Provenance
This tape was given to collector Andrew Harrington by William Volk, then loaned to the Video Game History Foundation to be digitized and have data recovered. The physical tape was returned to Harrington after digitization.
