This accessions includes several dozen CD-Rs containing source archives and assets from the production of several Microsoft-published games from the mid-1990s. The majority of the CD-Rs are related to Beyond the Limit: Ultimate Climb (codenamed "Summit"); the breadth of material for this game is substantial, appearing to contain backups of the game's archives from various points in its development timeline. Additionally, this accession includes materials from two other projects, codenamed "Monster" and "Eagle," which were not immediately identified at the time of accession.

These materials were donated anonymously by an individual who worked for Microsoft in 2023, who saved the CDs from being thrown away during an office clean-up. These materials were originally addressed to long-timer Microsoft consumer product manager Kevin Larkin.
