Issues are numbered based on the issue and volume numbers in the magazine mastheads; issue numbering is inconsistent through Volumes 3–4 of EGM2 and is reproduced as it was printed.

Hero Illustrated
Hero Illustrated was a comics magazine by Sendai Publishing, the publishers of Electronic Gaming Monthly (EGM), under the name Warrior Publications. The magazine's staff overlapped with EGM, including editor Steve Harris. Although Hero Illustrated was not focused on video games, the magazine included ads for video games and occasionally covered games based on comics.

Launch Day Magazine, 2014–2016
Launch Day Magazine was a digital magazine distributed by Walmart from 2014–2016. Each issue coincided with the release of a specific video game at North American retail. The magazine appears to have been distributed exclusively through a series of mobile apps, and their data is no longer online. The only surviving issues of Launch Day were distributed as PDFs by EGM Media, the magazine's original publisher.

Super Gaming
Super Gaming was a short-lived gaming magazine by Sendai Publishing that covered import games, particularly games from Japan, before they were released in the United States. Super Gaming only ran for four issues. Two years later, Sendai Publishing would begin publishing EGM2, a magazine that initially had a similar focus on import games.
Super NES Buyer's Guide
Super NES Buyer's Guide was a spinoff of Electronic Gaming Monthly focusing on upcoming games for the Super Nintendo. The magazine published on an irregular bi-monthly schedule for three years before being discontinued at the end of 1994.
