This collection of postcards was sent to subscribers of Play Meter magazine, a major trade magazine covering the amusement industry, along with the October 1983 issue of the magazine. The cards include advertisements for arcade products, services, and industry events.

This is a collection of catalogs, flyers, and brochures from video game retailers that advertise upcoming products and promotions. These are distinct from retailer-produced magazines, such as Game Informer and Walmart GameCenter.

This collection currently includes several dozen video game and software retailer catalogs. This includes both physical and mail-order retailers. Catalogs sent directly by game publishers are separately (see "Video game publisher product catalogs").
