Abstract

Carolyn Rauch was the senior vice president of the Interactive Digital Software Association (later the Entertainment Software Association) and a founding organizer of the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). In various roles at the ESA and event organizer IDG World Expo, Rauch oversaw multiple gaming events, including E3; the public-facing spinoff event E for All; and the Game Marketing Summit (previously known as MI6).

Abstract

The Game Marketing Summit (GMS) was an annual conference for video game marketing professionals and hosted the annual Game Marketing Awards. Previously known as MI6 and operated by PromaxBDA, GMS was acquired by IDG World Expo after their 2012 event. Carolyn Rauch, who had joined IDG World Expo in 2007, produced the event from 2013–2015.
