"One Last Time" letter from the editor, August 9, 2024
This letter was posted on social media by Matt Miller, the editor-in-chief of Game Informer, one week after the magazine was abruptly shut down by GameStop in 2024. Although it was published independently and is not part of Game Informer's official publication history, this is effectively the final editorial piece for the magazine.

PC Accelerator
PC Accelerator (abbreviated PCXL) was a computer game magazine targeted to men, in the style of men's magazines such as Maxim. PCXL is mostly notable for its pervasive crude, sexist content, which was objectionable even in its own time.
A one-off revival issue of PC Accelerator was published by PC Gamer in Fall 2007.
