Pocket Gamer
Pocket Gamer was a specialty magazine that covered games for handheld consoles. The magazine was part of Imagine Media's Hard Core Gaming Guides brand of niche gaming publications. Like the Hard Core Gaming Guides brand itself, Pocket Gamer appears to have been short-lived, with only two currently known issues.
Pocket Gamer, Issue 2, est. September or October 2000
This collection currently includes one of two known issues of Pocket Gamer. It is unclear if any other issues were published after Issue 2 circa October 2000.
Pocket Games
Pocket Games was a spinoff of Electronic Gaming Monthly focusing on handheld game consoles. The game primarily focused on Nintendo handheld consoles and games, but it expanded to include competing consoles, such as the Neo Geo Pocket and the PlayStation Portable. The magazine was published on an irregular seasonal schedule for around six years.
