InterAction / Sierra News Magazine

Abstract

InterAction was a promotional magazine by developer Sierra On-Line, published seasonally. Starting around 1987 as Sierra Newsletter, the magazine grew and started to feature more graphics and color printing, eventually becoming Sierra News Magazine before it was rebranded InterAction. Sierra would publish the magazine until the company underwent significant layoffs and restructuring in early 1999.

Juiced.GS is a long-running quarterly Apple II user magazine that started in 1996, four years after the last Apple II model was discontinued. The magazine is closely associated with KansasFest, an annual Apple II user convention.

Originally published by newspaper editor Max Jones, Juiced.GS was published by Syndicomm starting with Volume 7 in April 2002, then by Ken Gagne's publishing outlety Gamebits from Volume 11 (March 2006) onward.
