This is the final, unnumbered issue of the 2010 reboot of GameFan, which also serves as the debut issue (and only issue) of Destructoid Magazine. GameFan starts on the front cover of the magazine, and Destructoid Magazine starts on the opposite cover with the pages inverted.

The magazine was launched by online game retailer Thomas Keller and former GameFan magazine staff after the magazine's dissolution.
