Abstract

Through the 1980s and early 1990s, Nintendo ran a series of regional newsletters to promote Nintendo games and consoles, similar to Nintendo Power magazine. Official Xbox Magazine

Official Xbox Magazine (abbreviated OXM) was the officially licensed Xbox magazine in the United States.

Towards the end of the magazine's run, starting on August 2019, the American edition of OXM was replaced with the British edition of OXM, effectively merging the two magazines. Both editions of OXM were discontinued in April 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic; the final issue is dated May 2020.

PC Accelerator

PC Accelerator (abbreviated PCXL) was a computer game magazine targeted to men, in the style of men's magazines such as Maxim. PCXL is mostly notable for its pervasive crude, sexist content, which was objectionable even in its own time.

A one-off revival issue of PC Accelerator was published by PC Gamer in Fall 2007.
