The library has a complete physical collection of all known issues of PC Games in its various forms.

During its first incarnation as PCGames, the magazine's publishing schedule was inconsistent, alternating between monthly, bimonthly, or sometimes seasonal publishing. Because most issues were unnumbered and are poorly documented, it is unknown how many issues of PCGames were published and which issues may be missing from the collection.

IDG Communications registered the copyright for this issue of PCGames, as well as Volume 2, Number 1 (copyright number CSN0082968). Because IDG did not register any other issues between these two, we believe that no additional issues of PCGames were published between Fall 1988 and Spring 1989, despite being billed as a quarterly magazine.
