The library has a complete physical collection of the main run of GameFan. Due to publication difficulties, only five issues of Volume 6 were actually produced, although they retain issue numbering based on the month they were published. Volume 7, Issue 2 was also not produced.

The collection also includes several special issues of GameFan; the only print issue of the unofficial GameFan spin-off magazine GameGO!; and issues of the relaunched GameFan from 2010.

Historical Note

Starting with this issue, GameFan was printed in a smaller page size, roughly half an inch shorter vertically than previous issues. We suspect this may be the result of production issues with GameFan's publisher, which impacted the magazine's printing (see the preceding issue, Volume 7, Issue 4).
