The library has a complete physical collection of the main run of GameFan. Due to publication difficulties, only five issues of Volume 6 were actually produced, although they retain issue numbering based on the month they were published. Volume 7, Issue 2 was also not produced.

The collection also includes several special issues of GameFan; the only print issue of the unofficial GameFan spin-off magazine GameGO!; and issues of the relaunched GameFan from 2010.

Historical Note

We believe that Volume 7, Issue 4 of GameFan was never distributed to the public due to publisher issues, which were not uncommon during this period of the magazine's history (see missing issues from 1998 and early 1999). However, the library does have a copy of this issue, which was purchased on eBay; we speculate that the only people to receive this specific issue were GameFan employees.
