Historical Note

This issue of GameFan includes an infamous review of College Football US '96 that contains racial slurs and other inappropriate content (p. 115). The text was intended as a placeholder, but it was never replaced before the magazine was printed. In the following issue (October 1995), editor Dave Halverson apologized for the review, suggesting that it was as an act of sabotage against the magazine's reputation.
