The library has a complete physical collection of the main run of GameFan. Due to publication difficulties, only five issues of Volume 6 were actually produced, although they retain issue numbering based on the month they were published. Volume 7, Issue 2 was also not produced.

The collection also includes several special issues of GameFan; the only print issue of the unofficial GameFan spin-off magazine GameGO!; and issues of the relaunched GameFan from 2010.

Historical Note

According to former GameFan employees, during the production of this issue, the GameFan office's communal coffee pot was spiked with LSD. The extent to which this affected the final content of the issue is unclear.
