Abstract
Carolyn Rauch was long-time organizer of the Electronic Entertainment Expo. As senior vice president of the Interactive Digital Software Association (later the Entertainment Software Association), Rauch oversaw the organization's trade show programs, including E3. When the ESA restructured E3 as a smaller-scale business summit in 2007, Rauch joined IDG World Expo to run a public-facing spinoff event, E for All.
In 2009, E3 returned as a full-scale trade show, now operated by IDG. Rauch returned as an organizer for the remaining decade of the event, first through IDG and late, through Dolaher Events.
Arrangement
Guidebooks for the Electronic Entertainment Expo are organized separately from the Carolyn Rauch collection (see "Trade show and event guidebooks"). Although Rauch's donation included copies of E3 guidebooks, most of these were already held and organized separately by the library.
