Content Description

This accession includes four filing cabinets worth of paper press materials used in the production of Game Informer magazine, primarily press releases, press kits, art on paper and film, and flyers. Materials have been grouped by the name of the issuing company and stored in separately labeled file folders. The collection seems to run through from the early to late 1990s.

These materials were collected by former Game Informer editors Andy McNamara and Andrew Reiner and donated to the Video Game History Foundation in late 2019. Much of this material was already digitized by the Video Game History Foundation prior to its donation.
