Biography
Originally founded as SuperPlay, Inc. in 1988 and acquired by IDG Communications some time after the publication of GamePro, Issue 1, May 1989. The group was left uncredited in the following issues until GamePro, Issue 25, August 1991, when they were first listed as a division of IDG (as GamePro Publishing, Inc).

It is unclear how long the E3 Show Daily was printed; print issues of E3 Show Daily are known to exist through at least 2016. There was likely no show daily for E3 2007, since the event was significantly scaled down that year.

GamePro
GamePro was one of the longest-running American video game magazines, published continuously from May 1989 until the end of 2011. The magazine was originally published by SuperPlay, before being acquired by IDG Communications after the first issue.
GamePro continued to operate as an independent unit of IDG until the magazine was dissolved in Winter 2011, following a final issue which attempted to pivot the magazine from a monthly to quarterly format.
