Pocket Gamer was a specialty magazine that covered games for handheld consoles. The magazine was part of Imagine Media's Hard Core Gaming Guides brand of niche gaming publications. Like the Hard Core Gaming Guides brand itself, Pocket Gamer appears to have been short-lived, with only two currently known issues.

Pocket Games was a spinoff of Electronic Gaming Monthly focusing on handheld game consoles. The game primarily focused on Nintendo handheld consoles and games, but it expanded to include competing consoles, such as the Neo Geo Pocket and the PlayStation Portable. The magazine was published on an irregular seasonal schedule for around six years.
