Abstract

This Game Workers Unite zine was designed for the 2019 Game Developers Conference. Four variant covers were produced for this issue:

  • Waluigi holding a rose, a symbol of Democratic Socialism
  • Isabelle from Animal Crossing leading a march
  • A picket line of game industry professionals
  • A computer-generated egg character by artist mushbuh
A revised edition of this zine was produced in 2020 (see "Game Workers Unite zine, March 2020").

Scope and Contents From the Series:

The library has a complete physical collection of the main run of GameFan. Due to publication difficulties, only five issues of Volume 6 were actually produced, although they retain issue numbering based on the month they were published. Volume 7, Issue 2 was also not produced.



The collection also includes several special issues of GameFan; the only print issue of the unofficial GameFan spin-off magazine GameGO!; and issues of the relaunched GameFan from 2010.
