The Video Game Buyers Guide (identified in trademark registration as V: The Video Game Buyers Guide) was a short-lived monthly pamphlet advertising newly released video games. The pamphlet consists almost entirely of ads, as well as a brief editorial note from the pseudonymous "Editor At Large T.T." The Video Game Buyers Guide was meant to be distributed for free at video game retailers, although it was not affiliated with a particular store.

The publisher of the Video Game Buyers Guide, Electro Source, would later reorganize as video game accessory manufacturer Performance Design Products (PDP).
