Abstract
Retro Gamer is the longest-running British retrogaming magazine. The magazine covers of a wide range of historical gaming subjects, typically overviews of old games and platforms as well as interviews with game developers.
Retro Gamer publishes around 13 issues per year, typically every four weeks. The magazine's original publisher, Live Publishing International, Ltd., went bankrupt in mid-2005. During a subsequent five-month gap in Retro Gamer's schedule, the magazine was acquired by Imagine Publishing.
Published by:
- Live Publishing International, Ltd. (2004 – July 7, 2005)
- Imagine Publishing (December 8, 2005 – November 3, 2016)

Note on Publishing Dates
Retro Gamer does not provide a publication date with each issue of the magazine. However, most issues of Retro Gamer do include the publication date for the following issue, which is what the dates in this collection are based on. Some gaps in these dates were supplemented with information collected by Park Productions.
