Abstract
Computer Game Review (abbreviated CGR) was a computer game magazine by Sendai Publishing, publishers of Electronic Gaming Monthly. Although it was a computer game magazine, early issues of CGR also covered console games, giving it the short-lived title Computer Game Review and 16-Bit Entertainment. It eventually adopted the multimedia-focused title Computer Game Review and CD-ROM Entertainment for most of its run. The magazine was canceled in 1996 when Sendai was acquired by Ziff Davis, Inc., which already published its own computer game magazine, Computer Gaming World.
