Scope and Contents

This collection includes all three known issues of Ubisoft's girl game magazine, including several duplicate copies. Based on their publication dates and magazine content, we believe these are the only three issues of this magazine series. When known, we have noted which magazines each issue was distributed with.

Abstract

Imagine Town Magazine (originally titled Game Candy) was a magazine supplement published by Ubisoft in the late 2000s and early 2010s to promote their line of casual games for girls.

This magazine appears to have been distributed as a pack-in with lifestyle magazines for teen and preteen girls, such as Discovery Girls and Six7*8th. Anecdotal evidence suggests that this magazine was also distributed for free at retailers, which aligns with its promotion as a "free magazine."

Custodial History

These magazines were obtained from Ubisoft's publishing office in San Francisco, which relocated in 2024. Due to the provenance of these items, we do not believe additional issues of this magazine were produced.
