Abstract

Personal Software (also referred to as Personal Software Magazine) was an early computer software magazine, published by the Hayden Publishing Company. Each issue featured extensive reviews of new software products, including entertainment titles such as games. The magazine appears to have been a spinoff of Hayden's other computer magazine, Personal Computing (according to the letter from the editor in the final issue).

The magazine would only run for eleven issues. The last issue was published in September 1984, after which the magazine was consolidated into Personal Computing.
