Abstract
S.W.A.T.Pro (originally short for GamePro's Secret Weapons And Tactics Guide, also referred to as SWATPro or simply SWAT) was a spinoff of GamePro that covered game tips, tricks, cheats, and walkthroughs. The magazine began as a special issue of GamePro before growing into a full magazine. After a year of one-off special issues, S.W.A.T.Pro eventually became a bimonthly magazine, published twice a year until late 1995.
Several years after the magazine was discontinued, the S.W.A.T.Pro brandname was briefly reused for a special tips-and-tricks issue of GamePro in Spring 2000.
