Abstract
Digital Diner was a short-lived multimedia magazine from Metropolis, the publishers of GameFan. The magazine covered a wide range of computer, internet, and multimedia topics, with a particular focus on entertainment and games, and was presented in the style of a media magazine like Rolling Stone rather than a computer magazine. Content included interviews with game and software developers, explorations of new topics in multimedia, a cover story celebrity profile with a multimedia angle, and reviews of new games, software, and hardware.
Digital Diner ran for only two issues before shutting down. According to executive editor Dan Amrich, a third issue featuring Conan O'Brien on the cover was in production but was never completed or printed.
