Abstract
PC PowerPlay (abbreviated PCPP) is a long-running Australian computer game magazine, originally launched by Next Publishing as a complement to their console game magazine Hyper. The magazine was acquired in 2018 by the Australian division of Future, which continues to run the magazine as part of the PC Gamer family.
The magazine started as a monthly publication but later in its run (circa 2019, following its acquisition by Future) shifted to a bimonthly schedule.
Not to be confused with CD PowerPlay, an unrelated British computer game magazine that briefly also used the name PC PowerPlay.
