CD PowerPlay
Scope and Contents
This is a near-complete collection of CD PowerPlay through May 1996. The total issue count is unknown, but May 1996 is currently the latest known issue.
Many discs for CD PowerPlay were attached to the cover in a jewel case, which is too bulky to shelve. In these cases, the CDs have been detached and temporarily placed with the Rob Smith collection until the library develops a policy for shelving bulky demo CDs. Demo CDs in plastic sleeves have been left attached to the magazines.
Issues missing their cover CDs are noted in their individual records.

Abstract
CD PowerPlay (later renamed PC PowerPlay in 1996) was a British computer game magazine. While the magazine itself is short, typically 24 pages, the main attraction for each issue was the included demo CD, which had an extensive collection of game demos, shareware, and reviews. The first issue of CD PowerPlay declared the magazine to be a "revolutianry" advancement of tge magazine format for a "paperless society."
Not to be confused with PC PowerPlay, an unrelated computer game magazine published in Australia.
Arrangement
Demo CDs in jewel cases have been temporarily placed with the Rob Smith collection until a permanent shelving solution can be determined.
