Abstract

British children's magazines are frequently sold in a polybag that included toys, posters, stickers, and other trinkets. These items have been separated from the magazines themselves and placed in their own collection.

Arrangement

The bonus items for each magazine have been stored in their original polybags, labeled by issue number, and stored in a bin separate from the magazine collection. The bin contents are not organized in any way; bags from different magazines are comingled.

Appraisal

This collection may be deaccessioned and disposed in the future due to low research interest. In particular, items with conservation concerns, such as sealed snack packs and rubbery toys (if present), may be deaccessioned and disposed independently of the rest of the collection.
