Abstract
Sega Visions was the official North American magazine for Sega consoles, seemingly inspired by Nintendo's official magazine Nintendo Power. The magazine covered new and upcoming games for Sega platforms, Sega hardware, and interviews with developers.
For the first nine issues, Sega Visions was produced by a small advertising firm called The Communiqué Group, before Sega switched production over to GamePro publisher IDG Communications. The magazine ran for five years and was mostly published bimonthly, with some interruptions and changes to schedule (particularly during its initial run with The Communiqué Group).
