Abstract
SoftSide (also SoftSide Magazine) was an early monthly computing magazine published through the late 70s and early 1980s. The magazine primarily covered software for a variety of platforms (including games) and columns about the changing role of computers on society.
SofSide also published a few supplements with their magazine, including a booklet, SoftSide Selections, which included a sample of type-in programs for different computers; and the Adventure of the Month Club, a monthly adventure game for subscribers.
Notes on Issue Numbering
The first eleven issues of SoftSide are unnumbered; they have been numbered in this catalog to match the format first used in Volume 1, Number 12.
For unknown reasons (possibly an error), on the May 1981 issue of SoftSide, the volume number skips from Volume 3 to Volume 4.
Starting in June 1982, SoftSide switched to using sequential numbering, but the numbers were off by 15 (eg., the 45th issue of SoftSide is labeled Issue 30). Issue numbers are cataloged as they were printed.
