Switch Player

Switch Player was a monthly fan magazine published by Ninty Media that covers games for the Nintendo Switch platform. The magazine ran for over six years, launching with an issue covering The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and ending with a special issue about The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Toxic

Abstract

Toxic is a long-running British children's magazine, focusing on popular games (particularly live serice games) like Minecraft, Pokemon, and Fortnite, as well as coverage of popular content creators and general media properties like Marvel and Lego. The magazine has been published since September 2002.

Like other British kids magazines, regular issues of Toxic were sold in a polybag that included toys, collectibles, and other trinkets for readers.

Ultimate Fortnite Challenges

Abstract

Ultimate Fortnite Challenges was a British magazine about Fortnite strategies and Creative mode designs, framing them as "challenges" for the reader to undertake. The magazine described itself as "The Fortnite mag that's also a game." The magazine was discontinued in 2019 after eight issues, redirecting readers to The Independent and Unofficial Guide to Fortnite, also by Dennis Publishing.

HyperPlay RPG

HyperPlay is a British fanzine about retro Japanese role-playing games. The magazine is published by its eponymous editor Kincl and tends to focus on games from the 1990s and early 2000s for the Super Nintendo and PlayStation 1 and 2.
