Abstract

These photographs were taken at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in 2004. Although MAGFest did not have an official presence at the event, Joseph Yamine, who founded MAGFest, represented and promote the event on the show floor with MAGFest organizer Pernell Vaughan and attendee Matt Reis.

Arrangement

Joseph Yamine originally donated digital copies of these photographs to the Video Game History Foundation believing they were taken at E3 2002, before the first MAGFest. These photos were actually from E3 2004 and are more relevant to the third MAGFest event, held in 2004.

These photos will be reorganized into a subcollection for MAGFest 3.0 if other materials from this event are collected. However, because these photos depict the founding staff of MAGFest, we have chosen to keep them organized with ephemera for MAGFest 1 for the time being.
