Abstract
This is a supplemental program for the anime convention Otakon, held at Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, MD in 2001. Flyers for MAGFest were distributed at this event, the first time MAGFest was promoted under that name (see "Mid Atlantic Gamers Festival flyer").
Custodial History
This item was donated to Video Game History Foundation by Chris Kohler, who attended Otakon 2001. Kohler's donation also included a pocket program for Otakon 2001 and a flyer for the first MAGFest, which was distributed at Otakon 2001.
Appraisal
Although this program does not mention MAGFest or Omakecon, it was added to the library to provide greater context for the community from which MAGFest was originally produced.
