Originally known as the Future Network; rebranded to Future US around July 2005.
During the Future Network era, a separate company name, Future Plus, was used for branded publications produced by Future US for other companies, such as SOE Worlds for Sony Online Entertainment.

In this letter, included with the December 2007 issue of Nintendo Power, the magazine's new editor-in-chief Chris Slate announced to subscribers that Future US had taken over publishing responsibility for Nintendo Power.
