Billboard is an American magazine covering the entertainment industry. Although the magazine primarily focuses on the music industry, issues of Billboard from the 1980s also covered the burgeoning video game business.

This special issue of The Hollywood Reporter celebrates the fifteenth anniversary of Lucasfilm's Industrial Light & Magic speical effects division. It is unclear why the Video Game History Foundation originally acquired this issue, though it is likely related to ILM's connection with Lucasfilm Games. The only relevant mention of Lucasfilm Games is in a congratulatory advertisement (p.S-6).
